This paper will go through different HRM theoretical frameworks like X&Y, Maslow’s pyramid, McClelland and Expectancy theory—, the nature of Strategic HRM by evaluating different outlooks of the RBV model, the Agency Transaction Theory and the Behavioural Theory— discuss how Culture can impact HRM decisions by showcasing the example of Google, and tackle the status of Human Resource Management in Morocco from different perspectives —at a government level, MNE’s and local corporations— and the role education and training plays.
