Culture Theory

Cultural Taxonomies explores the cultural theories of Edward T. Hall, Geert Hofstede, Trompenaars and Hampden-Turner and Schwartz. Each theory is analyzed critically. The next section of this paper contrasts cultural aspects of China and the West, gives a definition of intercultural encounter and provides examples of the barriers to intercultural communication.
